She Sells Seychelles

Carla woke slowly, the sound of the waves crashing on the sand a roaring cacophony that did nothing to help her aching head. Last she remembered, she'd been at the nightclub, dancing away in an itty bitty top and short shorts, letting the calypso rhythms of the music take her away. Vaguely she recalled the bartender, an older man with a white beard and a Hawaiian shirt, asking if she wanted a Sea Nymph - she'd had no idea what it was, but it sounded intriguing. The drink had glowed the brilliant blue green of the Caribbean Sea topped by white caps, and stirred by what looked like a miniature trident. The old man had winked at her, as she took the drink away, and she slammed it down in one gulp as she headed back to the dance floor. Everything after that was a whir. 

She went to stand up, but was drawn up short by the sensation that her legs were tied together. She looked around and discovered that from the waist down, she had a scaled tail in the same brilliant aqua as the drink, with a large fin where her feet had once been. Not only that, but she quickly confirmed that she was naked from the waist up (actually, from the waist, down as well, come to that, but the mermaid's tail seemed to give her at least the illusion of being partially clad. Her bikini top was gone, and very quickly she flipped back around so that her heavy breasts were underneath her.

"At least the old man could have left me with my top," she muttered, casting a mournful eye at her tail and looking at the shells on the beach. She knew about sea shells, of course, but she what really, really needed was a DD shell or two ...




I recently scragged the Photoshop app on my laptop and haven't had a chance to reinstall it until recently. This is a pretty basic mermaid, all things considered, more just a practice run with some new brushes.
